Edward VI was a strong Protestant yes because he turned all religion, churches and the whole of England protestant. He even made catholic mass illegal !!
Hope this helps :)
Edward VI was a protestant, because when Henry VIII died more people had become protestant, and decided that Henry VIII was right. Since Edward was a heir to Henry, people were on the protestant side
Because Edward VI and Mary I had different mothers, they were brought up to follow different beliefs (Mary's mother was Catherine of Aragon = Catholic & Edward's mother was Jane Seymour = Protestant) Edward VI was a puritan ( a Protestant extremist) and Mary I was a Catholic extremist, so this was all about religion; Edward VI had made England a very Protestant country and he knew that if his half sister Mary I successed him that she would make England a Catholic country. This is why he did not want her to become Queen of England. Hope this helps :)
Edward Seymour!
Edward VI of England succeed Henry VIII (his father) at the age of 9. However, he had advisors such as his uncle (Edward Seymour). Edward's regin is probably most famous for the changes he made to the church, completely changing it from catholic to protestant. He died in 1553 of tuberculoisis at the age of 15.

Protestant.
edward was raised a protestant by his fathers radical protestant ministers, these ministers ran the country while edward was too young to rule.
Edward vi and his half-sister Elizabeth were protestant but Edwards other half-sister Mary was catholic.
To a great extent England was already protestant by the time Edward VI was crowned, he did however inforce it on those who still did not accept the King as head of the Church, as some rebelled against it. Edward VI had been brought up a Protestant like Elizabeth I was.
He was protestant unlike his half-sister Mary.
