Water pumps are totally mechanical; if they don't leak or make noise they are OK. Period. The stat should be at the lower end of the top radiator hose within the water outlet, but before replacing it try this: remove the rad cap and allow engine to run for about 20 minutes checking the coolant level during this time and adding as necessary. Bleeding trapped air out of your system may be all that you need to do. If it still overheats change the stat. I hope this helps you.
theyre maybe an air bubble in the block causing it to overheat,or it could also be a bad water pump
Maybe cooling line is plugged or crimped Maybe cooling tank in radiator is plugged Install auxilliary transmission cooler
Check brake linings - maybe need replacement
maybe low on fluid? or maybe bad thermostat? or maybe bad water pump?
So, it still has the old thermostat right? Maybe it needs a new one or maybe it got put in upside down. It's easy to do.
maybe your riding the clutch
you used to have to change the complete housing, maybe now there is a kit to change only the thermostat, because you can remove it,with care.
Follow top radiator hose to were it connect to head. Remove 4 bolts and thermostat is there. Maybe 2 of them.
check your antifreeze and water...maybe water pump too.check for a thermostat that is not closing ,.in other words a faulty thermostat
about 30$ to do it yourself, maybe less.
It sounds like it might be in your coolant system. heater core maybe? Or maybe a sticking thermostat.
maybe its u or da car
