The Treaty of Paris ended the American Revolutionary War. It involved agreements between the United States and Britain, as well as France, Spain and the Dutch Republic. It declared the United States as an independent nation, relieving Britain of ownership of the Thirteen colonies. Britain ceded East and West Florida to Spain. France and Spain gave back the Bahamas, Monserrat and Grenada to the British. France gained to Tobago and Senegal. Britain returned Dutch territories in the East Indies to the Dutch.
