An IUD is a choice of birth control.... I dont think you take antibiotics for birth control... you take antibiotics for infections.
No, this dosage is right if it's given twice a day. 500 mg twice a day is fine for most infections. He must be not allergic to penicillin.
ADDED: This is not the place to seek specific medication advice, especially for a third-party, and a child at that. The proper person to ask is your doctor who can diagnose the actual illness and prescribe the proper medication and its dose, for the individual patient.
I wouldn't, the active ingredients in Thermobol will interfere with your antibiotic, however if you space the use out between the 2 by a minimum of 2 hours you may be able to get away with it. This is difficult as the recommended use for thermobol is 3 times a day, which you need to split evenly if possible and because of this it had an effect on my antibiotic so I wouldn't recommend that you take thermobol.
I believe amoxicillin can cause a stroke. My sister who was born healthy and normal got pneumonia when only a few weeks old. Doctors gave her amoxicillin but during the night my sister had a fit and no one picked it up but mum. one side of her face dropped slightly, fevers, fits, nerve damage to the brain. Although she looks normal, amoxicillin caused her to have a speech problem, anxiety, low mentality, difficulties in learning and much more. My family and i have noticed that as she gets older she's getting worse. I've had to put her on a gluten free diet, no soft drinks or junk food and on herbal tablets to help better her health and lifestyle.
Yes, you should go back to the doctor who prescribed the amoxicillin to you to inform him or her about the neck stiffness and pain at the back of your head. Remind this doctor that you are already taking warfarin (an ati-coagulant) even if it is this same doctor who put you on that medication; sometimes this kind of information gets lost or forgotten. You want to be sure your doctor has all available information in mind when making decisions about your treatment.
Assuming you have a vial of 5000 iu's, and want to have 125 iu's per dose, follow the following:
-add 4 ml's of the water, making a concentration of 1250 iu's per ml.
- the tuberculin syringe is one milliliter. it is marked at intervals of one tenth of a milliliter (.1, .2, .3, etc.) A volume of solution of .1 milliliters will be a dose of 125 iu's.
Amoxicillin 250 mg- 40 chewable tablets
take one tablet three times daily at bed time
doesn't make sense, but that's what it says
Sinacilin is an antibiotic containing amoxicillin. Names for antibiotics containing amoxicillin differ from country to country, for example Sinacilin is produced by ICN Galenika A.D. a pharmaceutical company in Serbia.
Amoxicillin has no effect at all on whether or not you conceive. It depends on whether you were fertile at the time.
No, you should not self medicate. You should only take medicines prescribed for you by a qualified physician. It takes a doctor 7 years to train to understand what is wrong with you and how to treat you for medical problems on an individual basis. What makes you thing it is safe for you to take medicines yourself? You can not know what is actually wrong with you or what is the correct treatment for you. Also, if you take antibiotics when not needed or incorrectly, you contribute to these medicines becoming ineffective (for everyone) as bacteria learn to tolerate them. Do not self medicate.
It's an antibiotic. No antibiotics can treat pain directly. You can reason that it can help with the pain associated with infections because it's getting rid of the infection, but that can take days.
I was to see the doctor last week and the doctor said the most an adult can take per day is 1000 mg so I would have the prescription checked for error
I would not recommend it for any child unless precribed by a Doctor
DO NOT GIVE YOUR OWN THEY ARE FOR YOU AND YOU ALONE...

It is used to treat a large variety of infections caused by bacteria.
Absolutely NOT!
Vomiting after an antibiotic may indicate the person is having a known side effect to antibiotics, i.e. nausea, vomiting.
Hold the next dose and call your doctor.
Yes, there is no proven interaction between these particular medicines. Other antibiotics such as rifampicin do interact with the pill reducing its effectiveness.
It is however sometimes advised that barrier method contraception (condoms) should be used for the course of the antibiotic, whether it interacts or not.
This is an important question you must ask of your baby's doctor !
my vet told me it IS ok.
i was worried if i DIDN'T give her anything, either A. she would cough so hard she would go into early labor, or B. she would give birth and would still not be over kennel cough and then would pass it on to the puppies, which could be fatal since they are too young to receive the vaccine and they have low immune systems.
my vet said it would NOT harm the puppies :)
Please call your health care provider today. If your child is being treated for strep throat, he needs immediate attention when passing brown urine, as this is a sign of complications in strep.
