Not necessarily, however, no matter what make of vehicle, if the head needs removing or the camshaft etc then it is wise to change the belt at this time. It must be noted, that the timing belt is a vulnerable and perishable component, which must be checked and replaced at intervals of about 50000 km...

Answer . \nIf you have a manual transmission, the shift knob should just unscrew off. If you have an automatic transmission, use a small (T5, I believe) Torx screwdriver and remove the small screw from the left-hand side of the shift knob, below the TCS button. Once that is removed, just carefully...
OK - just replaced mine. Stand facing the front of the car. Go tothe right side and find the air filter assembly. You may want toget a light to see better. The PCV is about "2 o'clock" from theair filter under a bunch of stuff. It's tight, but look for thegeneral shape of the new PCV valve you are...

honestly. Dont even attempt it, unless you have an engine hoist. Take it to a shop. its 170-220 labor. And save yourself an insane headache. I just attempted one and I've been working on cars for years..needless to say, its going elsewhere.
It would be locted in the back of the car. under the trunk.
There is a battery light above the engine temperature gauge
The problem could be the starter. It's tough to say without seeing the car. The best option would be to bring it to a mechanic, who could correctly diagnose the problem.
it sounds like your low on freon. the idle kicks up to comensate for the extra load from the compressor . if its low on freon the compressor short cycles causing the eratic idle
