If your looking for the temperature sending unit because you get a faulting reading on the guage, like all of a sudden it reads hot, could be the voltage regulator on the back of the display panel. I had a problem with the temp guage in my e250, 1990 that drove me crazy. replaced everything still did not fix the problem until I replaced the small voltage reg on the back of the display panel with a solid state 5 volt regulator from radio shack. The temp sending unit is on the right rear coner of the engine, behind the intake manifold.
The 1995 Ford F3 50 temperature gauge sending unit can be found on the top of the engine. The temperature gauge sending unit will be near the middle of the intake manifold.
Temperature Gauge Sending Unit The sending unit is located in the front section of the intake manifold in the vicinity of the thermostat.
I'm going to add an oil pressure gauge to my 05 GTO. Where's the sending unit located on the 6.0 L engine
The 4.3 temp sending unit for the gauge is located in the drivers side head between spark plugs 3 & 5.
The temp sending unit for the temp gauge is located on the drivers side of the engine between cylinders 3 and 5 spark plugs.
I believe the sending unit for the oil pressure gauge on a 4.0 L OHV engine is located on the drivers side of the engine below the power steering pump
It has several sending units such as a fuel gauge sending unit, oil pressure gauge sending unit, temperature gauge sending unit, need to know which one you are looking for.
Temperature Gauge Sending Unit The sending unit is located in the front section of the intake manifold in the vicinity of the thermostat.
The 95 Lumina with a 3.1 engine does not have a temperature sending unit. Instead, the dash temp gauge is controlled by the engine coolant temp sensor. This sensor is located on the driver's side, top of the engine.
There were three different engines offered for that vehicle and there is a separate temp sending unit for the gauge than there is for the computer(PCM). The V6 4.0 SOHC ECT for the PCM and the sending unit for the gauge are both located side by side on top of the thermostat housing. The V6 4.0 EI engine ECT is located on the front of the engine, left of the throttle body, and the sending unit is located in the front of the engine, behind the alternator bracket. The V8 5.0 ECT is located in the front of the engine, below the middle of the ignition coils and the sending unit is in the same area, but toward the driver's side of the engine below the left ignition coil.
On a 2000 Ford Ranger : If you happen to have the 4.0 liter EFI , V6 engine : The oil pressure sending unit for the dash gauge is located on the drivers side of the engine , below the power steering pump
When my 1994 Pontiac Transport is in park and idling the the speedometer runs erratically? Why?
