The only specs I can give is the amount of metal removed during machining. There are two 'witness' marks on the surface, small round indentations about 5mm diameter and about 1mm depth. Usually the head can be machined to this depth on most motors. However, Ford stresses that on E3,E5,B6 motors the head should be machined enough to take out only slight warp as taking off too much changes the valve timing. Chris
