Front and rear left side panel lights and brake lights on 1987 supra do not work however the bulbs are good What can be the cause and how do you fix it?

It could be the brake failure sensor in this year there is a wire that shorts out. All you have to do is find you brake light wire going in and the wire coming out of this sensor. Splice only those two wires and connnect and tape them off. Your lights should all work now.

It would either be a bad wire in the circuit from the brake light switch on the brake pedal to the bulbs, OR the bulbs have 2 filaments in them and the one that comes on when you apply the brakes are worn out, OR someone put the wrong bulbs in(single filament). I would change the 2 bulbs first.
