The seat latch bolts to the frame through the gas tank. The seat latch will screw out like a bolt.
There is no latch. The fuel door locks/unlocks with the doors.
My locks were not working properly on my 2007 328i so I opened gas cover latch manually by going into trunk, opening right side cover by taillight, then pulling on plastic latch relase.
push on the aft section, it will pop open
passenger side under the glove box
use the gas tank to masturbate and ejaculate in the engine
there is no latch inside the vehicle. When the doors are unlocked, push on the left side of the tank cover and it will spring open.
A geo tracker gas tank should work on a sidekick from the same year or body style.
i am unsure how to make an adjustment to the release, but on mine the latch inside the tank door is bent in slightly, so the release on mine doesnt work. the door appears to be latched, but it easily open by pulling the tank door open.
take the gas tank down and change the fuel sensor that is in the tank.
You have to replace what is called a "gas tank sending unit". This is a electrical device that inserts into the gas tank. The part cost about $100. Plus you have to find somebody that likes to work on gas tanks.
What year is your car? I have a 2001 Galant GTZ and my gas door is one that you have to push. Mine you push the right side of the fuel door.
