Just did this so here is what I did and used
Tools:
- 10 mm socket
- Socket Wrench + extensions
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Grab onto this plastic trim piece running along the bottom of the door frame and pull towards you. It will snap right out. (Has 3 clips)
- Grab grab the kick plate covering the junction block and pull towards the drivers side. It will snap right out.
- Grab the plastic trim piece going along side the glovebox and pull towards you. It will snap right out.
- After removing that final piece of trim you expose a 10mm screw/nut Remove this 10 mm screw. I recommend using a socket to prevent stripping.
- There is a Phillips head screw on the lower left corner of the glovebox to be removed. Follow the left edge of the glove compartment to bottom and you will find it.
- Open the glovebox and remove the three Phillips head screws along the top of the frame that are normally hidden by the door. Be sure to hold up the glove compartment as you are removing these final 3 screws.
- Pull the glovebox door down and out towards you in a gentle motion and it will come right out.
