check to see if the evaporater is working or if its leaking, then check for leaks on ac lines going threw out ur engine bay
Refrigerant filled within compressor, condenser and evaporator has leaked not allowing thermostat to switch off the compressor or in rare cases thermostat itself is damaged.
Yes if the compressor has oil in it, drain it out and measure what comes out. A good general rule is about 3-5 oz to put in the new compressor. Make sure to put it directly in the suction side(low side) of the compressor and turn it about 10 times .
cooling Not only that, but also to protect the windings from moisture.
I should say it is closer to Isothermal process when the air in a compressor is cooled in between stages (Of course for multi stage compressor). The cooling brings the work from Adabatic process towards the isothermal process (constant temperature) which increases the efficiency. for more info, check-http://www.marineinsight.com/tech/auxiliary-machinery/efficiency-of-air-compressor-and-uses-of-compressed-air-on-a-ship/
if you havent ever changed one before then you shouldn't mess with it, the freon inside the compressor is poisionest, it needs to be drained, new compressor installed, filled with dye to test for leaks, drained again and then re-fill with freon.
Locate the low pressure cut out switch, unplug the wire connector, using a paper clip jump across the two connections in the electrical plug. This will by pass the low pressure switch and allow the AC compressor to run. THIS IS A TEMPORARY PROCEDURE! Once you have filled the system with freon remove the jumper wire and plug the connection back in to the low pressure switch.
it depand upon the filled ... if ur working on single filled either echo or cath it should be around Rs 30,000/, if your working in both filled it should be around Rs 45,000/-50,000/ .. in increase on experience .
It is stored in water filled tanks. This provides shielding as well as cooling. In some plants the water filled tanks have become filled up and shielded containers are having to be used.
because the motor runs to fill up the tank but when its filled it stops and is ready for use
Make sure the AC isn't over-filled.
Reclaim the freon as it is illegal to let it into the atmosphere. Take the drive belt for the compressor off, then remove the lines. Unbolt the compressor and swap it with the new one. Connect the lines back with new o rings. Put the belt back on. The system will need a vacuum pull before it can be filled with freon.
