you don't give the year of the car, but if it is 83 - 96 model, it's possible that the hiss is coming from the vacumn assist for the heater gates. Many of the cars from this era used vacumn from the brake booster to open and close the blend doors for you interior heating and cooling. If you switch control to defrost, vent etc, does it change the airflow properly? Does it change from hot to cold ?
Your front brake rotors need to be machined or replaced.
it says in manual that its behind the steering column only if its not a automatic

You may have a brake booster that is leaking. The diaphragm may be busted. You will need to remove the brake booster vacuum hose and do a vacuum bleed down test. If the booster will not hold vacuum it needs replacing.

Do you mean the " BRAKE " light ? - when the brake fluid level is low in the brake master cylinder in the engine compartment , the " BRAKE " light will come on just like it does when the parking brake is engaged
Disconnecting the brake light switch requires crawling under the steering column of a vehicle. The brake switch is placed behind the brake pedal and the clip for the switch will be on top. Simply unplug it.
