There are approximately 20,000 Federal and State firearm laws already on the books. These DO restrict the right to have and to carry firearms. Example- go to a gun shop to buy a gun. You must have at least two forms of ID to prove you are a resident of that state. You must pass a computer background check, and in some states, you will need to wait 5 days before you can pick up the gun. In other states, you must be fingerprinted, pass a background check, and pay a hefty fee to get a "Firearms Owner's ID Card" before you can look at a gun in a gun shop.

Is a dying declaration a violation of ones constitutional rights?

If an individual is charged or prosecuted for a crime based on another's dying declaration, it can be argued that they are deprived of their constitutional right (6th amendment) to confront witnesses against them (since they are now dead).Added: The cogent legal fact is that a genuine dying declaration is an exception to the hearsay rule and can be admitted as evidence in court.ONLY if the individual actually manages to survive can the declaration be challenged.
