Really need more info. YEAR and ENGINE SIZE:
But it sounds like a bad head gasket, Or crack in the cylinder head. A engine always gets hotter for a short period of time when it is shut off. Example -- IF the engine temperature while driving down the road is 195 degrees a bad head gasket or a crack in the head may not open at 195 degrees and you think you have no problem. But as soon as you shut it off , The engine temperature rises to probley 210 are so degrees and that is hot enough to make the cylinder head gasket or crack in the head to leak for a very short time, and dearing that time engine coolant leaks into the cylinder puddling on the top of the piston Then when you start it in the morning it smokes white until it burns the coolant out of that cylinder. The problem will only get worse, Needs fixed now before you have major engine damage.
Heat makes things expand, Cold makes things contract. A crack will only open at a certain degrees of heat.
white smoke is coming from my exhaust why?
the smoke that comes out of a exhaust pipe is supposed to be white
yes.
Car maintenance is very important for a smooth ride. When there is white smoke coming out of the exhaust, it is usually an indication of water in the engine.
It is buring oil this is a wrong answer whe engine burn oil to the exhaust smoke is a heavy white smoke no black
Reverse has nothing to do with it, unless the smoke is coming from your differential. White smoke typically indicates you are burning oil somewhere.
if there is white smoke ur vehicle is either burning oil or it is moisture in the gas chamber
yes
White smoke is water vapour. Possible head gasket problems
White smoke especially when starting tends to indicate that water is finding its way into the the exhaust system, where it is boiling and exiting the exhaust as steam. The possible cause could be water getting into the cylinders (perhaps from a damaged gasket).
You may have oil on the exhaust, once this has burnt off the smoke should stop.
White smoke out of the exhaust means that there is coolant getting into the combustion chamber. Usually due to a bad head gasket.
