If they are designed for plastic they should not have any abrasives in them, so they should be safe, However if you are trying to remove cloudy oxidation from your thermoplastic /acrylic/ polycarbonate headlight lens they will not work.

Actually.. to take the headlight lens apart, put the Oven on 200, put the headlight assembly in oven for a few minutes at a time, as the headlight assy heats up, the adhesive will loosen up making it easy to remove the lens. put the headlight in the oven at about 215 degrees for about 5 min then pull the lens off the housing, clean it then use some automotive glue and push the lens back in. look it up on YouTube very simple
