Horn on 2000 Firebird will not work using the horn button on steering wheel but sounds when activating car alarm How do you diagnose this?

unfortunatly, this is a follow the wire problem most likely the wire has been broken somwhere along the line or could have been disconnected when the alarm was installed. you'll probably need a wiring diagram or you can run a new wire. best of luck auto electrical is a pain in the a** =o)

I'm actually trying to figure that out for myself, lol the second button starts the car in 2nd gear I believe it's only for the automatics and it is used when you need to get more traction in say snow.
