∙ 14y agoIf it is an automatic transmission, you add transmission fluid with a long funnel through the dipstick opening.

if its a manual transmission you dont have one it has a plug you unscrew and look into if its an automatic its on the passenger side(the side with the transmission) it will have a yellow handle on it.

To change the transmission oil on a 1988 Acura Integra drain the older fluid by loosening the drain bolt. Wait until it is done drain and cap the hole. Insert new transmission fluid in the transmission reservoir.
Usually thru the dipstick hole!
it takes just about 3 quarts for a normal oil change.

In the manual transmission there are two big bolts, one on the top, one on the bottom. Remove both to drain it. Put the bottom one back in and fill her up. I'm unsure of where it is on the Automatic transmission.
