It could vary. Everybody would say french fries though. If you had ten french fries, baked and no salted, it would be better for you then say a baked potatoe in fatty butter and some cream cheese and garlic in the middle. Portion size. If you have more french fries, they are probaly not the best choice for a snack. Always go for low fat, low salt, and lo cal food, which ever that may be, depending on the situation.
This is tricky. There are not to many bad carbs really. Its more of how oyur food is processed. For example, Potatoes are good, but when they are fried into chips or french fries they become bad. Another example, refined graines, you would think would be good for you but actuelly it only boosts your suger for a short period.
Although they are fried in vegetable oil, the oil might contain trans-fat. You should be able to ask the restaurant whether or not they use oil that contains trans-fat. The reason many restaurants use trans-fat containing oil is that it makes the French-fries more crunchy. French-fries cooked in oil not containing trans-fat should not be bad for your heart. They are fattening though!
I'm guessing salt? But a good amount, too much makes it taste bad and is unhealthy.
