Inequalities are used to exploit people. Inequalities are used to apply the law unequally with less affluent people feeling the full force of the law more often than the rich and white collar crime (that can affect larger numbers of victims) being punished much less severely than other crime.

Cruel inequalities are at work when the children of an affluent suburb get a fantastic and free public education and the children in a large, poor urban community can't even have their own schoolbooks or pencils and paper to write on and certain national leaders claim that every child has an equal chance at success in America.

Poorly educated people are the source for unscrupulous scams of every description from predatory lenders to substandard home repairs and they are exploited as cheap labor, not paid a living wage for their work.
