The differences between Spain and the US is maybe the cultures, religion, and there food.

Also the fact that they have a prime minister and a king at one point and their country isint the best because of money problems.

The similarities are fairly obvious, so I will point out the differences. In the US, the executive branch consists of the President and the various Departments of the Government, and works seperately from the legislative branch (Congress). In the UK, the executive branch works under the legislative branch (Parliament), as the Departments come under control from MPs. In the UK, the Head of State (the monarchy) has little power in the government and serves as a figurehead, while the Prime Minister is the Head of Government and the main leader of the country. In the US, the President combines both roles. The President is directly elected by the people, whereas the Prime Minister is indirectly elected; the leader of the party with the most votes becomes the Prime Minister.
