Adult male black labs are on average 60-90 pounds, and adult blue heelers are typically 45-60 pounds. Females typically weigh less, but not by much. Since your dog is a mix, he/she will most likely be somewhere in the middle of those ranges at about 60 pounds, but could be anywhere from 45-90 pounds and still be within the average.
The Blue Heeler (or Australian Cattle Dog) should reach between 17 and 20 inches at the shoulder, according to the official Kennel Club breed standard. There is no specified weight for this breed.
A Labrador retriever reaches 54-60 cm, and a blue heeler will reach 43-51 cm. So, in theory, the mix should be anywhere from 48.5 cm-55.5 cm. This is all dependent on the sex of the dog, as well as which breeds traits become more dominant.
I have a blue heeler boxer mix and he is 9 years old now and 86 pounds. His mother was the boxer, father was blue heeler. He is a beautiful boy and I've had him since he was 5 weeks old. His legs are short and he has heeler ears and a boxer face with his nose being a little longer. 86 pounds may sound like he is over weight but the vet says he is fit. His body is thick but mostly muscle. He is very intelligent and learns fast. I spend a lot of time with him and he is very protective. He doesn't care for people or animals except for immediate family. He doesn't attack but he does nip. Best friend I've ever had. Very loving with family.

What is the weight of your dog? I always get a bigger crate than what is needed. So they can turn, stand and lay down with a room to spare. I have a Large one for my heeler.
Ca you tell me? Research both breeds, it will be a nice mix, with a happy go lucky energetic attitude
