Keep them in two separate rooms for a 1 or 2 days, then put them in the same room WITH YOU WITH THEM. See what they do, if they don't get along start having them eat together and have the cat outside while the dog plays fetch. Then eventually they will get used to each other and ignore each other because they feel secure around each other.
Not every dog gets along with a cat. But some do. You should get the cat first if you want a cat and a dog. The dog should be a puppy when you get it.
well maybe the dog in your cat did not ge along in never leave your cat out side when u know the dog dnt like your cat
Get a cat and dog trainer and train them to be well behaved
If you have a pet cat and dog and they get used to each other. Then after a while they will get along. Worked with ours.
If you are getting a labrador while it is still a puppy, then yes the dog will usually get along with the cat since they will have grown up together. and it also depends if the cat is used to dogs, if not the cat may run from the dog or attack when the dog is near it and they will not get along. My labrador gets along fine with cats, it the cats that don't particularly like my labrador.
If you wanna have a cat and you would like a dog and you know they wont get along you might wanna get them both at the same time. and you should get them at about the age of 3 moths because that is when there the most social. and get a cat that is nice and a nice dog for the dog i recommend a bisonfrise. they are very good with other animals i amnot sure about the cat though you should look it up.
If the cat has lived in one place mainly her whole life and the dog is new it might take a while for the cat to get used to the dog But most likely the cat will ignore the dog if the dog wont bother her That's what it was like for my 6yr old cat and our stray dog
I think it depends on the dog and cat's personality and how long they've known each other. If you're just getting a cat 9or golden retriever) then you can ask an expert on how to get them to get along with each other quicker.
There is as much of a guarantee of getting a dog to like a cat, or another dog (no matter what gender) as there is me promising you'll love your mother-in-law. It depends on the individual.
try to get them to spend time together if animals know each other they get along better
A dog savvy cat is one that knows dogs and has been around dogs. They get along with dogs well enough that they can live in the same home together.
It probably depends on the Bichon, but my Bichon gets along great with my cat. She was 8 years old when we got the kitten.well i have to cats already do u think the bichon will get along with them
