If you come across a harmful or inappropriate question on WikiAnswers, please do message any active Supervisor or Community Assistant via their message board. Alternatively, email WikiAnswers @ Answers.com (remove spaces) and a Community Assistant will deal with the question. Finally, you can click the red "Report Abuse" button in the top-right hand corner of the question.
WikiAnswers does alert you when a question you asked has been answered. At the home page and on question pages, the bell used for notifications at the top-right of the page will have a red notification box to let you know about questions you've asked that have been answered.
Yes, IF you click on "Watch Question" which is under the answer box to a question, or on the word "Watch" which is in the blue box to the left of each question, then you can get an email telling you if your question has been answered, but only if you are a registered member, so WikiAnswers will have somewhere to send the email.
Plagiarism is not allowed on WikiAnswers. If you see an answer that was plagiarized from another site, feel free to delete/change it or alert a WikiAnswers Supervisor about the answer. We can't keep track of every answer that's submitted, so sometimes plagiarized answers go through the cracks.
You can use the flagging system to alert it to a supervisor. Click on "Flag" on the blue menu and select the appropriate flag and add a comment if necessary. Alternatively, you are welcome to message a supervisor on their message board with the question and ask them to take care of it.See the related link for more information on flagging questions for improvement.
All users should be alert and report all errors and inconsistencies within the report. All errors should be reported to the supervisor.
A WikiAnswers "Editor at Large" is a WikiReviewer who basically looks for all sorts of things to fix. Like a Floating Supervisor, the Editor at Large doesn't specialize in just one area, but spreads his or her interests and skills around to many areas, all for the purpose of making WikiAnswers a better place. Editors at Large are on the lookout for plagiarism, which they may then either fix themselves, or alert a Literary Editor to fix. They may decide to tackle some questions which have lain unanswered for a long time, or alert the Archive Researchers to these questions. Editors at Large might edit questions and answers where grammar, spelling and punctuation need improvement, or let the Copy Editors know where there's such a problem that needs fixing. Sometimes, a question has been merged and/or answered so many times that it needs tidying up, with the removal of irrelevant or redundant material. In essence, the Editors at Large are roaming editors with a passion for pedantic perfection!

Yes, any contributor can recommend that a question be merged into the Catch-All system. Contact a Supervisor or Community Assistant and they can do it straight away. The system is now changed and most of the questions are constructed differently. Should you find a "bad" question, either contact a Supervisor or file an abuse report. The abuse report will alert one of the staff that there is something wrong with the question so that they can dispose of it properly. At the top right side of the screen, you will find a link to "report abuse." This will send a report which is read and the question and/or answer either fixed or discarded. We appreciate your help in finding these bad questions!

If you see where someone has vandalized a question (posting profanity, non-sense, racist comments, etc.), you can click on "Report Abuse". This will alert a supervisor of this, and they will remove the offending answer and give the one who posted the offending answer(s) a warning, or they may even block them from the site.
If you are not signed in, it is impossible to alert you as to when your question has been answered - multiple people can contribute from your IP Address.
