OK pretty much what you do is fold both seats all the back then stradle the stick shift grab hold really really tight and pull very very hard. Be carefull not to smack yourself in the face when it comes of. They are just a press on style of nob with a detent of the shaft to keep it on. Sometimes people just give up on pulling it off and cut it off with a Dremel, this is ok if you have no plan of using it again.
