I have a 2000 Alero and my transmission is an automatic and only has a filler cap, and this tranny is a sealed for life transmission with no dipstick, so no way of checking it unless u get under the car and loosen the trans plug on the side of tranny and if it runs out ur ok, if noy add a little that's the best answer i got 4 ya, but mine is a seled for life tranny no dipstick and no way of checking it, and as long as u don't have a leak u should not have to add any, thanx, Sincerley, TONY, Indpls, IN....
