If you cannot find your radio code (as I could not)and you did not purchase your vehicle new, simply call the national Honda customer service number, give your VIN and ask for the dealer that your vehicle was purchased from originally. Call that dealer and ask for the code. they will give it to you no problem. this charging to remove your radio and get the serial number is not necessary and some dealerships charge which they should not.
AnswerWhat code? Radio code? That will require that you remove the radio and copy the serial #. With this #, your Honda dealer can provide the code, if that is what you are referring to. My AnswerI just bought a Honda Accord and was told that if my battery were to die then the radio will lock on me..It was explained to me that to get the lock code off the radio to un-lock it I need to remove the radio (by removing a couple of screws on the face plate) pull the radio out and if you look under the radio ( so on the physical radio that you pulled out a little) you will see your code.. There is no need to spend $50-$100 to have the dealership do this for you, its quick and easy I tried it already and had no problems at all.. If I can do it trust me you can do it also..How do i put in the anti thief code in Honda 2006 accord?
