You must be missing some signs of something that has gone wrong in your friendship. Perhaps you love him and have mentioned it? He may not feel the same way, or he may and simply be afraid of ruining a good friendship by getting into a more serious relationship. Being best friends (past or present) means you should be able to approach him and ask him why he feels this way. Communication is everything, so please, call him up and have a nice quiet chat about both of your feelings. Good luck Marcy
My New Best Friend ended in 2003.
You should go visit him, it sounds like hes depressed and needs his best friend.
It will ruin our friend like relationship
Yes sure it happens. Most love and marriages has evolve from this stage of relationship.
with your best friend
There is no possible way you can tell your friend without ruining your friendship. (Alternative): Depending upon your best friend's personality and beliefs, it may very well be impossible. It also depends upon the intimacy of your relationship with your best friend's boyfriend. The more intimate the relationship you had with her boyfriend, the more damage your friendship may take. You may be able to minimize the amount of damage by passing it off as a casual relationship (i.e. "just friends"), however this could backfire - especially if saying such a thing is a lie and this is found out. If your best friend has a forgiving personality, then the best way would be to be honest and apologetic. Most likely your best friend will still be hurt and will still be angry at you, but in time your relationship may heal. Mind you, if your intention is to still be able to date your best friend's boyfriend even after admitting this to your best friend, there is very little chance of your relationship surviving. Your best friend will probably see this as you trying to steal her boyfriend. Of course, there are always less... ethical... methods to get what you want, but I (along with most upstanding people) can not advocate this course of action.
we'll the good thing is to tell your best friend and see how he/she goes with it
screw your friend
well if your friend is happy with that other person then its best to move on xx
It is probably best to let him find his own relationships. Besides, he might not be ready for a new relationship if the last one recently ended and hurt him that badly. Be there for him as a friend. Let him tell you when he's ready to move on.
Not at all! Gay men are great best friends! They are your shopping partner and your cuddle buddy without the hassle of a relationship
