I have had to go underneathe the car and use a pair of vise grips or pliers to turn a crank that is to the rear drivers side of the tire. that is about the only way to do it unless you have the crank that hole is for the crank to go thru. it veers to the left a little is why it looks like it doesn't go anywhere.
it could need a greasing, but to be safe you should check it to see if any of the parts inside are broken.
There could possibly be broken parts or they simply need to be cleaned. These are basically the 2 ways you can diagnose the problem. If they are not broken then there could be some grit that is binding up causing them not to turn all the way.
Miles or Miles per gallon? My '98 4runner has 175,000 and it's just getting broken in!
Most likely because your speedometer cable is broken. If I find the guide for removing the instrument cluster, I'll post it here.
Yes, a hissing cockroach has the ability to regrow a missing or broken antennae. They also can regrow limbs that are broken or missing.
Does it run then it's not broken.
Locksmiths have special tools and can remove broken keys from cylinders. Is the cylinder in a door or the ignition? First, make sure the lock is in the off position for ignition or the verticle position for a door. Then shoot in alot of lubricant. Next wiggle and jiggle the key while pulling gently. If not possible, take to locksmith.
Poor English for staying where you are. If broken down though is means that you are not going nowhere so are actually going somewhere.
Blown bulbs, blown fuse, broken or out of adjustment brake light switch.
When a Toyota 4Runner will not move in reverse, it could be that the reverse band in the transmission is broken. Another possibility is a problem with a range selector. Both problems would need the services of a transmission expert because the transmission would have to be pulled.
Mine doesn't, but if yours does, it could be due to warped rotor (if it shakes when you are breaking) or unbalanced/unevenly worn tires. Could also be a broken or missing engine mount (if it shakes all the time).
Fatigue, maybe from missing or broken hangers.
