IF YOU ARE ASKING ABOUT THE REVERSE LIGHTS, THEN HERE IS YOUR ANSWER. oN THE SIDE OF YOUR TRANNY, THERE IS A PLUG, I BELIEVE IT'S A 1 INCH OR 1 1/8 INCH WRENCH. IT HAS TWO WIRES COMING OUT OF THE END OF IT, BOTH SHOULD BE BLACK. tHAT SWITCH SCREWS INTO THE TRANNY, AND HAS A BALL BEARING ON THE END WITH A SPRING. wHEN YOU SHIFT YOUR TRANNY INTO REVERSE, IT KICKS THAT BALL IN AND TURNS THE REV. LIGHTS ON. TO REPLACE, SIMPLY UNSCREW THAT SWITCH... MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE METAL GASKET, THERE SHOULD BE TWO.. KEEP THEM BOTH. GOTO YOUR LOCAL AUTOPARTS STORE AND GET A "REVERSE LIGHT SWITCH" OR SENDING UNIT, I'VE HEARD IT CALLED BOTH.. I ORDERED IT AS THE SWITCH. IF THAT DOESNT COME WITH ANOTHER METAL GASKET, MAKE SURE YOU USE BOTH THE OLD ONES... HOWEVER IT SHOULD COME WITH ONE.... IT IS VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU USE 2....2....2....2....2..... YES THATS TWO METAL GASKETS ON THAT SENDING UNIT WHEN YOU PUT IT BACK IN... IF YOU DONT, YOU WILL SHEER THE END OF THAT PLUG OFF, SENDING THAT LIL BALL BEARING INTO THE TRANNY AND YOU COULD LOCK IT UP.... TRUST ME I'VE BEEN THERE. SO PLEASE USE TWO GASKETS, AND MAKE SURE THAT IT SHIFTS INTO REV. EASILY AND WITHOUT NOISE. GOOD LUCK!... P.S SENDING UNIT SHOULD COST ABOUT 40 DOLLARS I BELIEVE... EASY JOB IF YOU DO IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME... LATAAAAAAAAAAA
