You cant do that directly from Word, Word cant save file as picture, press Print Screen on keyboard, then Paste in picture editor program like MS Paint
You cannot change the format from Office 2003 to Office 2007, the technology was not out then. But you can make a RTF document that will open in Office 2007. Click on File/Save as/click on the arrow to open the drop down list/ choose RTF
If you are trying to make a Word 2007 document compatible with Word 97 or Word 2003 you can save it into those formats from the Save As function found under the Office icon at the top left of the Word2007 application window.

I think you go to insert at the top of a word document, and then click on picture, and then word art. Although, I'm not sure if that will work on your vista computer or not...you can try though. I hope that helps!

There is currently no character in MS Word that allows users to add a reciprocal symbol. You could possibly copy and paste a picture of the symbol into the document where you want it to appear.

Yes you can.Just make sure that after editing that you save it as a word 2003 document (*.doc). If you save it in word 2007 format (*.docx) you will need to download a free compatability pack which allows you to open 2007 files on earlier versions of word.
