Push the wheels side to side. If you have excess wobble, it's a good indication.
It could be the wheel barring hub.
probly the brakes ware rod that tells you to replace the pads...if not then its a wheel barring getting ready to let go. jack the car up if you can, and find the wheel that is grinding and put your hands on the top of it and push. if it moves back and forth then it prob you barring. and check your struts!!!!!! i have a 98 grand prix that will grind when going around coners and it was the front struts
Sounds like a drive train problem or perhaps a wheel barring issue, depending on your vehicle.
A steering wheel is the wheel that is in front of the driver of a car. It is held in the hands and is used to turn the wheels to control the direction of the car is going.
check your wheel barrings i just had the same problem on my buick lesabre jack up your car untill the wheel is off the ground and grab the tire and shake it if there is alot movement when you do its probably the wheel barring it is pretty easy to replace if that is what is wrong with it get a chiltons it will help alot :)
it tells you how fast the car is going
you have a wheel bearing going out my friend,
A growl or rumble that changes pitch when you turn left or right would be a wheel bearing going bad. A bad strut would allow that corner of the car to bounce too much.

Make, model, year, etc would help. I'm assuming this is a car. Look for wires going to all 4 wheels, don't confuse the brake rubber flex hoses for wires. For each wheel that has a wheel speed sensor it will have to have wires going from the sensor to the body and then on to the ABS computer.
When you take your hands off the steering wheel with the car moving and it goes to the left or right quickly.
