There is only one way to be 100% sure and that is to have him/her tested. Some kids are very sensitive to certain types of food and reacts strongly to too much sugar which makes them bounce around and not listen so you can never be really sure without the tests. And don't wait. The sooner you have the result the sooner the child can get help and learn so much about him/herself. Many feel inadequate in school and life when they don't need to.

It is illegal to "Pick on" any kid. But it is allowed and required to hold all the children to the same standard and require the same level of behaviour. This can make it seem like he is being unfair to the kid with ADHD. But what he is trying to do is teach the kid to behave like the other kids.
