yes exactly what he wrote, the 1992-1995 civics are the same basically, your engine would be a 1.6......some of them are 1.5 ( non v-tec) Provided your hood, fender or front clip has never been damaged, you'll see a white sticker with a bunch information about your engine speed ect. you should see something like; 1.6 or 2.6 ect. Good luck!
The up stream is closest to engine and down stream is farest from engine
look under the hood and at the top of the engine the valve cover will tell you.
The light is on to tell you that the computer has information for you. Use a code scanner and the computer will tell you why the engine is not running well.
Acura makes Honda. Honda makes Acura
without more information, it's hard to tell, but most likely, yes
hard to tell without more information, but more than likely, yes it will
There are multiple reasons. Have the ECU scanned and that will tell you where to start looking and what part is being effected.
Owner's manual and a placard under the hood will tell you. You have a 1.6 liter inline 4 cylinder.
It is the Check Engine Light, it means you have had a sensor fault. You should take it somewhere and have the codes dumped. They will tell you what you need.
Depends on what year the Civic is which you did not list. All I can tell you is that it is on the dash near the fuel gauge.
From the factory, a 2000 Honda Civic EX engine does have VTEC on the intake side only. It does not say VTEC on the valve cover, and in stock form you normally cannot tell that it is working, but it is there.Unless the engine has been replaced with a non-VTEC engine or you are not operating the car correctly, VTEC should be engaging at around 5000 rpm while the engine is at normal operating temperature.
It the engine management warning light is on it is best to find out what the problem is and fix it. Many auto parts stores have a reader and call tell what is wrong for free.
