You can't. Lack of sleep is lack of sleep, and eventually it catches up with you. Sleep lack lowers the resistance to diseases and recovery time is increased, by the way. Chronic loss of sleep is often a sign of depression (as is too much sleeping), and by itself is thought to lead to physical and emotional problems going forward. Recent research seems to show a connection with reduced life expectancy, as well.

It's a classic case of "pay me now or pay me later."
