He did not kill Isaac. He showed readiness to do so if that was God's command, and God then told him that it was a test (see Genesis ch.22).

Why did Abraham take Isacc to the mountain?

He took his son to the mountain because God told him to. It was a test to see if Abraham would obey God. Once there, God told Abraham to kill Isaac. As Abraham was about to kill Isaac, God said "Stop, you have proven yourself to me"!

What did God tell Abraham to do to Isaac and why did he have to do this?

As you may already know, Abraham and his wife Sarah, were both really old when they had Isaac. As a test, God told Abraham to sacrifice his son. If he had enough faith in God, he wouldn't have to worry about what happened to his son. Abraham took his son up to the altar and Isaac asked what they were offering. Abraham said, "The LORD will provide the offering." Abraham tied his son to the altar and prepared to kill him when an angel of the LORD appeared to him. He told Abraham to let his son go, he had showed his faith in God. Abraham had passed the test.

What was Abraham 's second task?

Why did Abraham tell his servants he and Isaac were going up the mountain alone?

God had asked him as a test of faith to sacrifice his son, and Abraham was obeying by faith - knowing God could raise him again - but was not required to carry it out.

Why is the story of Abraham's sacrifice important today?

Apparently you're referring to Genesis 22, in which Abraham demonstrated readiness to sacrifice his son but did not, in the end, need to do so. The importance of this is that it shows Abraham's unquestioning obedience. After having his aged and long-barren wife, Sarah, give birth to Isaac (whom God had promised him), Abraham put his service of God ahead of his love for Isaac, despite knowing that it was Isaac who would carry on his traditions. This has served as a model for those Jews who gave up their lives rather than abandon God.See also:How did Abraham show his faith in God?How did Abraham get rewarded for his faithfulness? Why did God want to test Abraham?

What time of the year was it when Abraham went to sacrifice Isaac?

The best work to answer your question is the Companion bible by EW Bullinger, his charts indicate that date to be 1863 BC, Isaac was born 1896 BC counting down you arrive at 33 years old (identical to the age of Christ Crucified) ..... Very Interesting is it not?

Why was God mad at Abraham and Isaac?

If you mean why did God ask Abraham to sacrifice Isaac then the answer is that He was not angry with either of them. We don't know specifically from the Bible text why God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son but we do know that Abraham does not even question the request. If we read carefully however we see that Abraham likely trusted that God would save Isaac somehow and his faith was rewarded when God provides an animal for the sacrifice instead. Some scholars believe that Abraham was asked to sacrifice Isaac as a test of his faith but others believe that the entire incident was a powerfully moving demonstration of God's desire that human sacrifice not be performed to honour Him. Many of the surrounding nations practiced child sacrifice and here God makes very clear the fact that that is not what He desires from his people.

Why do you think was a test of faith for Abraham to sacrifice his son?

Leon R. Kass (The Beginning of Wisdom: Reading Genesis) says that, in a strange way, the passage about Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son speaks more about God's faith in Abraham than Abraham's faith in God.He goes on to say that if you say that Abraham, when he goes up Mount Moriah, neither hopes nor believes in the slightest that Isaac will somehow be saved or restored at the end of it all - if you say that Abraham has resigned himself wholly to the loss of his son Isaac - then you must also say that Abraham is offering Isaac to a God whom Abraham believes to be a liar. For did not God promise that "it is through Isaac that offspring shall be called for you (21:12)? God's covenant was with lsaac - not with Ishmael or Lot, nor with some other son of Abraham - to be an "everlasting covenant for his offspring to come" (17:19). Abraham's name itself("Father of many") bears the mark of this covenant.Kass' analysis tells us that Abraham could only have been confident that Isaac would not die.

Why they kill Abraham?

Because he was testing Abraham to see how loyal he was.
