The Allied armies re-took France, Holland and Belgium and finally advanced into Germany to force the German's surrender.
The prefix for "draw" is "re-." In this context, "re-" means to do something again or to reverse a previous action. Adding the prefix "re-" to "draw" would create the word "redraw," which means to draw something again or make a revised version of a drawing.
It was in 1944 that the Normandy beaches were retaken by Allied forces during World War II. In that same year, the Allies pushed the German forces all the way back to Germany's own borders, yet the war would continue into 1945.
"To the victors, the spoils". They were going to re-allocate the various resources among themselves and make Germany pay the costs of the war

The Locarno Treaties of 1925 involved Germany voluntarily (re-)accepting its Western borders and its border with Czechoslovakia and agreeing not to attempt to change its border with Poland by force. In exchange, Germany was admitted to membership of the League of Nations and ceased to be a 'pariah' or outcast country.
They were both divided up based on the Mandate System of the League of Nations. Other European countries assumed responsibility of the former territories.
People say Hitler is the person to blame for causing World War 2 because He deliberatly breached the agreements of the treaty of Versailles and invaded Poland. However, the agreements of the treaty of Versailles onto Germany were very harsh and would of break out war, Germany re-build it's Army, so it can defend itself, Germany re militarize the Rhineland because they lost it world war 1. Germany wasn't the only one who invaded Poland at the time, The USSR invaded Poland WITH Germany. Anther fact the Hitler wasn't or isn't the only one to blame for world war 2 is that the allies known that Germany was re militarizing itself for at least 5 years before World War 2. So the allies were responsible because they didn't stop Germany when they knew about it
After WW1 Germany was not allowed any arms, i.e. weapons. However, in 1935 Hitler started re-arming Germany. He re-took the Rhineland with troops, and wasn't stopped by the British or French, even though it was part of the peace treaty of 1918. He then invaded Czechoslovakia in 1938, moving into Poland in 1939, when the Allies finally reacted and declared war on Germany.

'Leave' is really the wrong word to use. Germany was beaten by the Allies and signed an armistice (a cease fire) on 11 November 1918. Treaties bringing a formal end to the war were signed at Versailles in France in 1919. Some people might argue that WW II was a re-run of WW I, so you might say that Germany and the Allies never really ceased WW I, but that's a matter for historians to argue over.
It took several years for the Allies to gather sufficient military force to re-invade Nazi Europe and force Germany eventually to surrender. In that time, the Nazis were free to persue their tragic policies.
