Religion
yes religion was a big part in the southen colonies
I would like to know the answer to this myself
The middle colonies religion was mostly just religious freedom so it was kind of everything.
All of the colonies had agricultural economies, although shipping was also important in some of them. Much of their population was of English descent, although African-Americans and Native Americans were other major groups.
people of the colonies became better citizens and could practice their religion correctly. this was a way of teaching in education.
Religion
The first textbook used in colonial times was called The New England Primer. It used Biblical characters as a theme in teaching children to read. Example: "Peter denies His Lord, and cries" "Thy life to mend, This Book [the Bible] attend."
Religion and Virtue contributed to the growth of representative governments in the American Colonies by supporting them and not rebelling (I THINK)

Catholicism
Religion and education helped raise children to be good citizens of the culture. The educational system in the colonies was meant to replace the indigenous culture with the Christian religion to make the natives obedient to the colonizing culture.
it creates unity among the people
Religion is the entire reason the New England colonies exist. The Pilgrims came to New England in search of religious freedom, and they created colonies where people were free to worship as they chose.
In New England, there were universities and Puritan educations. Virginians learned on the plantations and religion was further separated from education.
The main influence for the development of culture is People. Some may also contribute which includes religion and believes.
By teaching the people the word of God from house-to-house
