India has only existed as a world commodity since 1945. There hasn't been much opportunity for nations to "make their mark" in history, since the cold war ended in 1990.

If India could jump on the "Global War on Terrorism" band wagon...and invent or market something that could help out there...that would be influencing...the world; not just SEA.

If ask about what Indian influence on southeast Asia historically were the architecture, religions, and much more. In fact, one of the most ancient country like Angkor Wat will tell the truth about how Indian religions like Hinduism influenced in Southeast Asia. We can see these proof by investigating the sculpture and arts on the wall of Angkor Wat temple, which was built for Vishnu in Indian legend.
