Answer on E2020:
The Federalists created a system of checks and balances in the government. This system limited the power of the various branches of government so that one branch could not take all the power and become tyrannical. Each branch was also able to 'check' the powers of the other branches, so that no branch could act alone.
The power was limited to tasks that faced the entire nation, such as trade, currency, and defense. Experience has shown that a stronger national government is needed to deal with these problems.
The Anti-Federalists, who were opposed to ratifying the Constitution, responded by writing contradictory essays rebutting each point Hamilton, Madison and Jay made. The Anti-Federalists also used pen names, like "Brutus," "Cato," "Federal Farmer," "Centinel" and others.
Unlike the Federalists, the Anti-Federalists were uncoordinated in their approach. Although they made many valid arguments about potential weaknesses and problems, none wrote as well as the Federalists.
The letters stopped around June 27, 1788, shortly after New Hampshire ratified the Constitution, fulfilling the nine-state requirement in Article VII for adopting the Constitution. New York, the state where the fierce editorial battle raged between Federalists and Anti-Federalists, ratified the Constitution on July 26, 1788.
The easiest answer is that the Federalists, who favored a strong central government, provided a solution through James Madison's Bill of Rights. What became our 10th Amendment reads: "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.

The Bill of Rights
The main agreements between the antifederalist and the federalist were about the bill of rights and the need for a government. The antifederalist demanded to have a bill of rights because it can explain the ideals described in the Declaration of Independence better than the Constitution because the bill of rights gives us freedom of press, freedom of speech, and freedom of religion. Also, the federalist felt like it was important to have a government. They both disagreed. This is right luv
