depending on the loaction of the alternator it is fairly easy. Just remove the belt (s) unhook the battery remove the bolts and any connections on the alternator. Reverse the above steps and your all good.

You have a lot of wires and cables to remove. Then you have to swap out all of the stuff in the cab, unless the new cab is complete. It is a pretty big job, but some would consider it easier than bodywork. Defanately not something you'd want to tackle alone.
It should, may have to swap the whole front clip. Resulting in changeing out the core support..
At a swap meet or to an alternator/starter rebuilder for "cores".
The 5.9L and 4.7L use different computers, wiring harnesses, and transmissions. If you are going to swap you need to swap everything.
