Look under pass side by flywheel. it is probably on starter (if pos)
You can find your 1988 Acura Integra starter on the right hand side of the engine. You can follow the positive battery cable directly to the starter.
Unhook the cable from the Cavaliers battery. Find the opposite end of the cable and pull it out. Fit the new cable in following the old cables route. Connect the non battery end of the cable, then hook to the battery.
Follow the cable rearward from the starter. It connects to the battery.
follow the cable from fire wall to transmission.
The ecm on a 1988 Corvette is mounted under the dash on the passenger side, I just had to get one for mine and it took the junk yard employees 2 hours to find and remove it. You will need to talk to a Corvette mechanic or look through a manual with exploded views to find out how to get it out withour distroying the trim. Assuming you are referring to the starter solenoid, the easiest way to find it is by folowing the positive battery cable from the battery. The cable goes from the battery to the solenoid and then continues from the solenoid to the starter.
Usually at the lower rear of engine follow the + battery cable
Yep. I had the same problem too, with my 1994 Jeep Cherokee. It seems very difficult to find the original style battery cables for these models. try www.wholesalemopar.com. Do a search for "POSITIVE CABLE" on their site, and it will show you the applications they have the cable in stock for.
There is a fuse attached to the positive battery cable harness, somewhere near the battery. Find that fuse and replace it. This might just solve the problem. The fuse is not attached to the battery cable, but in the vicinity of the battery batteries positive side.
