I had the same problem. Mine was loose, If you can push on it to make it work then yours is loose too. Remove the cluster with all the cables and wiring harnesses. Take
a close look at it from behind and push on it and you will see where it is loose. Take
a clamp like a C clamp and clamp it tight and mix up some epoxy and cement that sucker from coming loose. If yours doesn't seem to have this exact problem then order just the fan switch from Kia. You don't have to buy the whole cluster from what a friend of mine told me. The part isn't to bad, I think it was under 25 bucks.
The doors are electric. You most likely have a broken door inside the heater box under the dash.

what "fan" switch? there are 2 fans-radiator fan (electric) and interior "heater" fan. ***the interior fan switch is on the dashboard, just above the radio. it is a "bar-grasp" switch with white dots above the switch. the rad. fan switch is controlled by the ecm thru. the coolant temp. sensor. addendum: ***is for a '95 galant. your int. heater switch will, more than likely, be different

The brake light switch is broken or out of adjustment. The brake light switch is attached to the brake pedal lever above the brake pedal pad.
The flasher is actually the hazard switch itself. If removed turn signals will not function. Just pop the old switch out and unplug it to replace if broken (if present and signal don't work).
