well i just changed the brakes on my Mazda mx3 what you do is take the 2 pins out of the calipers which is holding the pads in place and then you are able to remove the pads

Air in the brake pipes. Old fluid. Worn seals in master cyclinder. Overheated brake pads and discs. If the pads are new they might not be bedded in yet; especialy if the discs are worn or ridged or scaled up.
there is a small long bolt on the left side of the brake handle tighten the nut to adjust
