Assuming you want to separate the Chevrolet 350 engine from an automatic transmission, be sure you have removed all six bolts holding the bell housing to the engine and the three bolts holding the torque converter to the flex plate. The engine and trans may be stuck together on the alignment pins between the trans and engine so a little gentle prying may be required.
The 350 has been in existence a very long time, and has seen many changes during that time. So start with WHICH 350 engine you're working with, and we can go from there.

I would suggest using Google to find this answer. but a quick summary would be: disconnect battery remove all wiring connected to engine drain engine oild drain radiator fluid drain tranny oil ( if comming off as a separate peice) remove intake remove all house connected to engine Unbolt all the engine mounts and tranny mounts using an engine lifter, hoist the engine out of the engine bay repeat the steps backwards to install engine don't forget to replace all the engine fluids that were drained!

The flywheel is between the engine and transmission. It is the large plate with teeth on it that the starter engages to turn your engine over while starting. The engine and transmission must be separated to remove it. Once you have them separated the flywheel is held on usually by 5 bolts attaching it to the engine crankshaft. It is not a simple job and requires several steps to get the engine and transmission apart. Since you are asking the question I'm assuming you don't have much experience in this area so you probably better get some help. Good luck to you.
