The starter on a '93 tercel, if you are looking from underneath the car, is directly to the left of the alternator. It is a fairly simple job to remove and replace the starter. If I can recall correctly the only thing that you need to remove is the intake support braket, but don't quote me on that.
The fuel pump is in the fuel tank. there is an access panel under the back seat to get to it.
Remove Back seat to gain access to access hole. From there it should all be pretty simple to remove the pump from the tank.Remove wires from pump remove screws that retain pump. Reverse process to complete after inserting new pump.
in the fuel tank but access is under back seat... Remove back seat and fuel pump is easy to take out..
Remove the lower part of the back seat by pulling upwards hard at the front lower edges. You will then find a black metal plate, remove this and the top of the fuel tank will be exposed. Disconnect the wires and hoses, then remove the top section out of the tank, with the fuel pump attached. Be careful turning as needed as to not damage the float. You can now replace the pump itself and reassemble as you took it apart.
don't bother-its not worth the hassle. Or go to a local body shop or the Toyota dealer near you and get their opinion
