only a dealership will be able to do this the key has a ohm rating in the chip that the car key solenoids corresponds with you would have to take it to the dealer if its a new key so they can program the chip in the key

You normally do not have to reprogram the key when you replace the battery. If you do you will have to contact your VW dealer.

the only difference between the two models is the trim. The LS comes with leather interior, woodgrain trims.
