You have to remove the linkage from the wiper motor.
This might be a very simple fix - check the wiper arm linkage for having come disconnected. See "Related Questions" below for detailed instructions on accessing the linkage.

at the wiper linkage that is at the base of the wiper arms there is a retainer clip that has broken allowing the linkage from the motor to not move the arms. This happened to me on an 1989 ford pick-up once. It was a pretty easy fix once I figured out the right timing of the linkage.
You will have to determine if the fuse, the switch, the wiper motor, the linkage, the pulse board or the wiring/connections is at fault before you can fix it.
check linkage assymbely or the transmission mounted on the wiper motor. you might have a bad wiper transmission.it will be only $34 change it should fix the problem
The wiper transmission has broken due to the linkage seizing. You need to replace the transmission......To do this you nedd to remove the top of the dash as there are 2 bolts hidden on the indise of the car to get it out
ughh i have the same problem. you need to fix the windshield wiper motor
Try popping off the cover at the bottom of the wiper. There should be a 15mm sized nut(I think). Make sure this nut is tightened down good. If that doesnt work then the linkage has come undone.
