open the reear doors and look on the side of the light assembly there are 2 screws , remove them and gently roll the light assembly to the outside of the quarter panel , then twist the light bulb holder out to access the bulb.replace bulb and reverse prcedure to reinstall. Use a magnetic tipped screw driver. There is a channel between the access hole and the mounting point, very easy to drop the screw from a normal screw driver.
on some cars the tail lights and brake lights are totally different bulbs gain access to the bulbs and have someone push the brakes so that you can determine which bulbs are the brake lights and replace the tail lights
open your trunk to get access to your tail light, unscrew some plastic snap-on-screws to get to the panel that holds all your tail lights move the fabric uncling the panel CAREFULLY and change your burn bulbs
Remove the carpet behind the tail lights and you will see the mounting sockets for the bulbs. I agree, it's a dumb arrangement.
remove the felt lining in the trunk. this will allow you access to the bulbs.
its on different bulbs
Check the fuse for the tail lights. Also check the bulbs.
Not sure on this particuliar vehicle but on most newer vehicles the tail light bulbs can be accessed by opening the rear door or trunk and removing a panel that allows access to the tail lights and the bulbs. If this is not possible you should have some type of screws on the tail light lenses itself that can be removed to access the bulbs. , EzForJesus
If the parking/tailight fuse is good - then it may be a bad headlight switch No tail lights but the bulbs are working? Please explain.
Burnt fuse...the tail lights and dash lights run together. Replace the fuse and if it burns again, change tail light bulbs first (some may be bad even though they work) and then look for bad wiring if the bulbs haven't fixed it.
I haven't looked at the 2005 specifically, but on earlier models, access to the bulbs in the brake lights is via the inside of the trunk. Pull the carpet away from the body and look for the tail light housing. The bulb holders just twist out for access to the bulbs, then twist back in. FriPilot
