The cheap and easy way to do this is nose the vehicle up to garage door and turn lights on. You will notice a flat horizontal beam of light from each light, then at one side (left side) you will notice the beam of light goes up at about 45 degrees to the horizontal beam. This is called the kick up and is the bit you need to get rid of to drive abroad as it dazzles drivers. All i do is get some black tape and stick it on the light lens until the kick up disappears. Use as little tape as you can to do this as you dont want to block the whole headlight out. Might be a good idea to get a piece of card board rectancle about 3" by 1" and slide it over the light until you find the best place to stick the tape. Hope this helps
