To post a song as an entry, once you are logged in and at your 'dashboard', click the 'audio' button towards the top pf the page that is in between 'chat' and 'video'.
Once the next page loads, it's as simple as clicking 'browse' and selecting your song from your computer files!
If you aren't sure which folder or file name your song is under, and you have the song in your iTunes library, you can also find the file by going into itunes, right clicking the song you want, clicking on 'get info', then copying and pasting the 'where' information into the audio file download on tumblr. Then just click 'post' and wait for it to load.

3. click the 'use custom HTML ' link
4. then paste the code into the box

∙ 12y agoWell I personally like going with hypster, so you would sign up for hypster and create your playlist. Then you go under cool player widgets, and get the code for the type of music player you wanted. After that, go to your tumblr blog, and click customize. You will have to go under theme and enable HTML, it it's not already done so. Next you would find Custom Css and place the code under <head>.
Surely this should enable the music player on your tumblr. If the problem still persists, contact your theme provider and ask them. Hope it helped!

1. Go to hypster.com.
2. Sign up or login.
3. Make a playlist and save it.
4. Go to 'My Account'.
5. Click player skins on right or the mix-tape picture.
6. Select the blog skin.
7. Choose one and click 'Get Code'.
8. Copy it and paste it on your Tumblr blog in the description box at the end of everything on the 'Customize' screen. Then save it.

∙ 12y agoOn your "Dashboard", Where you see: "Photo, Text, Quote, Chat, Audio and Video", Click "Audio", then if you have music on your computer, click "choose file and choose whatever song you want from your computer, then go to the bottom of the screen and click "Create post", and you're done! If you want to get a song from a website, instead of clicking "choose file", just above that, click "External Source", then type in the URL of the website you are getting your music from. Once you have typed in the URL, scroll to the bottom of the page, and click "Create Post" and that's all!
